Since tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, I’m thinking we should send our soldiers some love. I’ve started my own personal Soldier Love Message Campaign and invite you to join me.
All you need to do is post a comment by clicking on the Comment link below. Wish them a happy Valentine’s Day. Tell them that you care and appreciate all they are risking. Post a Valentine’s Day poem. Share a funny story that will make them laugh. Let them know they are in your thoughts and prayers. Write whatever you want to say, whether it is a short message or a long letter.
Please note all comments are moderated because unfortunately A Soldiers Voice gets a lot of spam. Therefore it will take an hour or two before your comment appears.
Please keep your message upbeat, positive, happy, humorous and appreciative. If you would prefer to remain anonymous, send your Soldier Love Message directly to me via email and I will post it for you. Or, you can post your message in the Comment section and let me know that you want it posted anonymously. I will copy and paste it on your behalf. Whatever is most convenient for you, is fine with me ;-)
Thank you in advance for helping bring some love to the troops. You have no idea how much this simple act can lift their spirits. And, if you could, invite your friends and family to stop by too. Our troops need all the love they can get, so let us shower them with love messages!
May the love you share today be returned to you ten-fold. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Dear Soldiers,
While I do not have a bouquet of flowers or a box of chocolates to send you this Valentine’s Day, I do have a heart full of love. I want you to know that I think about you every day and send prayers to keep you safe.
Even though I think Valentine’s Day is kind of corny, I do like the concept of showering people with love. I’m not sure who came up with that silly looking Cupid with a bow and arrow to symbolize love. I’m thinking it was the Greeks, right?
Anyhoo, I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate and love you. I want to thank you for all that you do to keep us safe. I want you to know that you are not forgotten.
I hope you have a nice Valentine’s Day and have a chance to share some chocolate or a cocktail with one of your best buddies. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do.
In Gratitude,
Kathy Browning

Though I cannot, in any real way, fathom what you all go through day after day for those of us at back here in the States, but I come from a military family and so I understand the feelings on the home side of the fence. The waiting, the worrying, the wishing.
My deepest best wishes to all of the soldiers who are serving their country in the most honorable way anyone can serve. Whether I, or anyone else, agrees or disagrees with the war itself, please know that you have my most profound thanks and gratitude for being on the front lines whenever we need you.
Valentine’s Day is about love and devotion. You all are showing your love and devotion to our country in the most profound way. I hope you are able to find a little bit of peace and joy in each day. I hope these notes from home help in some small way. :)
Wishing you all safe days, hope, joy and a happy homecoming (hopefully soon!),

I know soldiers, heroes
You have dreams
You ache to be home
To be touched
To be loved in this valentine’s Day,
But where ever you are,
In any dreams you hold
We are all with you,
in our hearts.

My brother was with the first wave of the PPCLI that landed in Afghanistan in 2002, so I know what sort of hell you are going through.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you on this Valentine’s Day and every day!

Dear Soldiers:
It’s been over 6 years since we all experienced a most horrific day on September 11, 2001. I will never forget that day.
As we approach the presidential elections in the United States, there is a continuing debate about the war, the reasons, and whether the war in Afghanistan and Iraq was the right course of action to combat the terrorists. However, please don’t ever think that for a moment that all Americans don’t offer you the highest form of gratitude. We have the life that we have because of your sacrifices and the soldiers before you.
As I wake up every morning, I hug my wife and kiss my children and thank god that I have the life that I have. I am fortunate.
However, I wouldn’t have the life that I have if it wasn’t for you.
Thank you and don’t forget, we appreciate everything that you do. See you soon.
Thank you

To Any Soldier Who May Read This,
Thank you for answering the call to serve and to do so willingly. Your sacrifice and that of your loved ones at home may seem too hard to bear right now especially when days like Valentine’s Day come and go with no variation of what you are enduring at present.
Know that there are those who pray for your safe return and an end to hostilities throughout the world. May the Lord Himself look upon you and grant you peace and blessings today.

Having grown up Army, I have the deepest respect and appreciation for each and every soldier, sailor, airman, and marine. Thank you all for protecting my freedoms. Note, I didn’t not say “our freedoms.” Your sacrifices are personal for me.
God bless you and keep you safe, but if God is on break, make sure you gun is clean.

To Special Someone, I hope you had a nice Valentines day. I didn’t do anything special. I worked on my orchids which had been neglected for a couple of yrs. It’s amazing they did OK. Some managed to bloom. I live in Florida and the weather is nice right now. Mom who is 90 sat out in the orchid room with me and we had the 3 little birds with us. They all enjoyed being out and playing. I wanted to thank you for what you do so that we can do what we do. Please don’t think it goes unnoticed.
My first job was as a psych nurse. That was a long time ago. I worked there for a year and then moved from Mass to FL. Here the closest thing to a psych ward is I95. I’ll be keeping it warm for you until you get home. Love to all

Guys (soldiers) you’re the best. Because of you I feel feel safe in New York City. You enable me to sleep at night, because I know you’re keeping watch. You’re the bravest. What you’re doing out in war let’s the rest of us live our lives back in the U.S.–the last thing in the forseeable universe you guys (soldiers) are is selfish. God bless you, your characters are truly one of a kind.

Hello to all soldiers
I thought of you and in my heart I want to send a prayer that I say everyday and I hope the Lord Most High will protect you from harms way. This prayer was found in the tomb of our Lord in the year 1505 After .Death. take care of yourselves. The Motto for life that I have been taught is to Love, Serve and Prayer.
And you guys are doing the first two if not all of the three with all your heart and soul.
You guys are priceless and selfless in all that you do for the common good.
Love you always
here is the following prayer
Tomb Veil Of Divine Saviour
Almighty God who had suffered on the wood of the cross for the sake of my sins, be with me.
Sacred Cross of Jesus Christ have mercy on me.
Sacred Cross of Jesus Christ delivers me from any harm.
Sacred Cross of Jesus Christ delivers me from any sharp weapon.
Sacred Cross of Jesus Christ delivers me from any mortal sins.
Sacred Cross of Jesus Christ lead me in the way of salvation.
Sacred Cross of Jesus Christ saves me from any danger of body and soul.
Sacred Cross of Jesus Christ be my consolation and strengthen me to bear the perils for your sake.
Sacred Cross of Jesus Christ delivers me from the fire of hell, and make me to inherit the happy ending life.
O’ Sacred Cross of Jesus Christ increase my faith and confirm me in Almighty love forever.
O’ Lord to your Cross we adore, and for your sacred resurrection O’ Lord we glorify.
By your mysterious birth, and your precious blood, and your death on the Cross for my sins, protect me.
O’ Jesus because you are able to lead me to the way of salvation, make me to be your chosen one.
Amen
This prayer was found in the Tomb of Jesus Christ in the year 1505 A.D.
Whoever reads this prayer will not die by drowning, nor by fire, or would not be harmed by poison, and would not be taken prisoner of wars, and whoever carry this prayer obtains the grants mentioned above, and whoever write this prayer to somebody else the Lord will bless them, and whoever makes mockery of it, or disregards it shall be punished.
If this prayer is read or prayed or heard by the pregnant woman at the time of her labour, immediately her pains will reduce, and deliver the baby easily, and after the birth if she places the prayer on the right side of the baby, the baby will be protected from the sickness of shivering.
And every sick person who reads this prayer will be protected from the thunder. And whoever reads this prayer daily would die suddenly, but will know by God’s sign the time of their Death three days before the date.
Amen.
